Good to see. They are a great asset to the community.

Pump tracks are fun, but this city badly needs a Dirt Jump Park!

Yes cause $400,000 makes up for almost $1,000,000,000 of public dollars for the Arena.

Nah someone had to say it, well timed faux philanthropy from our resident public purse pickers. It's hard to not be jaded with this kind of charity from a corporation that just asked the Public to front them 95% of construction costs on a project primarily aimed to assist them in making more money off the very same taxpayers they're grifting.

Didn't the South Glenmore Park pump track open a couple years ago? Does it already need repairs?

I was also confused by this because similarly, the West Confed Pump Track literally just opened.

Funding directed to these three pump track projects will support the opening and maintenance of all three highly used community assets.

There is an unofficial one in the SW near Discovery...

Yes. Not sure about the other projects, but I'm guessing this money doesn't cover the entirety of everything, so it's just a nice big chunk to the capital budget and they can stamp their logo on these particular projects

The flames foundation is funded primarily through 50 50 draws over the course of the year, are they not? It might be better to think of this as a separate entity from the flames altogether.

I knew this thread would come back to the Flames gauging taxpayers. I still think this is awesome.

Obviously just trying to buy good will after the city 'agreed' to chip in the lion's share for that billion dollar arena.

1 year deals only at this point. If he's not willing to sign 1 year deals, I'd ship him out while he still has value. Actually, if you shop him this summer and there's a good return on the table, ship him out regardless.
