I dunno, Nurse sucks, but I'm not sure he was an instigator. Nor was really a true '3rd man in' in either. Oh well.
It's going to be really funny when Pietrangelo just gets a fine now

The Pieterangelo slash was not nearly as bad as the Trouba hit imo. Both were dangerous plays with likely intent to injure, but the Trouba one was worse for having targeted the head.

Trouba hit was clean.
I see the slash the same as I see the Kane cross check to the face the previous game. Both were very clear attempts to injure.
The worst play of the game last night was Kane boarding Peterangelo and I don't think it's even close.

I agree about the Kane cross check and the boarding.
The Trouba hit was awful regardless of whether or not it was inside the rules.

The way AP's hands are in that video, there is not leverage to give a hard slash. Draisaitl is a complete diver.
EDIT: Go home and hold a stick hands that far apart at shoulder height and see how much force you can apply. They called it a two hander, but those are usually hands together, like a gold club or baseball bat. Now far apart like sweeping a broom.
