You need just the tweet identifier number, not anything else, so just 1557012973973020673, everything after the ? will make it not work.

I've read all the posts on this thread. Most forums I post at, I just hit "copy link" to the tweet on twitter and post it on the forum and it works .
It simply won't work here, no matter which way I try or alter the post to conform with the advice on here. Why is it so difficult?

It's how the forum software works, different software would probably do something to pull out the necessary information to embed a tweet, this software pre-dates twitter.
All you need is the number that identifies a tweet. In the post above yours the URL is: https://twitter.com/user/status/1557864445539323904
You just need that number, nothing else.
So it should look like this if you type it:
Or if you're using the tweet button in the editor just put in the number, nothing else.

Is anyone else having the issue that tweets don't display on tapatalk? They're just showing up as links that don't go anywhere for me.
Edit: scrolled down and saw there's a whole thread about it, lol

These guys come in and it’s always a nice polite one. You serve them because you dont want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.
And THEY bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh, this is a Nazi bar now. And its too late because they’re entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

It is hit or miss now whether tweets show up in Tapatalk. Tapatalk has known about the issue for over a year.
The original developer of Tapatalk just bought it back from investors and has promised to try to bring it back to its original roots. I'm hoping basic things like tweet/X support will get prioritized again.
