I'll actually be low key happy if he goes to Vancouver. As someone living there with a young son, it would be exciting for the city and my kid growing up if he takes to hockey.

I wish they would show the lottery balls coming out of the machine. That way the are making it clear there are no back room shenanigans.

Every team has a representative in the room to witness it.
It's just not TV-friendly because the numbers are drawn, then a bunch of people hurriedly flip through a spreadsheet to find the winning combo. They have posted videos of the drawings in the past and it's tedious to watch.

So glad we didn't win.
Could you imagine if we won it, then bottomed out for a few seasons and had good lottery odds, and this one counted against the 2 that you win in that period? That would suck.

Columbus winning draft lottery for Bedard to play with Gaudreau, and Florida making the SCF with Tkachuk winning MVP, unfortunately losing to Edmonton who wins the cup, would be the darkest timeline for Flames fans.
