The Oilers are involved in this one. The comments match the content.

Oh man. Kane was going for the hit and AP is trying to stop to avoid the hit. That’s why it isn’t square. Wasn’t even knee on knee. If anything it was closer to the crotch

You shared a video to compare, so I watched both hits. I don't like either player. Neither is a good hit. Doughty's hit is more borderline. Kane's hit is worse. It's clearly a dirty hit.

I can only call it as I see it in the video.

Well ok
Obviously many don’t agree with your assessment
But
A knee to the crotch wouldn’t exactly absolve Kane

When Kane was punching Kolesar? Sportsmanship? No. Penalty obviously

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy though

I was literally talking about a poster saying that if it happened to Mcdavid they would be suspended, because there is a huge conspiracy that anything the oilers do is allowed and anything against them is called.

Neither those hits were even a penalty. I’d say they were pretty equal in terms of viscousness but doughtys hit resulted in injury.

Flames fans here are more upset about it then knights fans. But that video doesn’t jive with the conspiracy that some fans here believe.

Says the guy defending Evander ####ing Kane. Did every Oiler fan just magically forget everything this turd has done, both on and off the ice, the moment he signed with Edmonton?

What injury? McRef never missed a shift.

It’s quiet material for the off-season Sportsnet Special entitled “McEverything…… Unstoppable”

Kane approached that hit with intent to injure and Doughty clearly did not. If Doughty would have approached his hit on McDavid with the same intent Kane did on Pietrangelo then it’s an auto suspension, no question.

Cale Makar’s hit on McCann in round 1 was way less severe than the regular season hit McDavid did on Anderson, wasn’t even close. Makar gets suspended making it easier for the Kraken against an already depleted Avs lineup.

There should be no BS from anyone that there is no clear favortism for McDavid or any other Oiler.

Either you hate the oilers so much that you can't be objective or you don't mind the oilers.

Can't be both.
