Oh for crying out loud the Kane hit was way worse than the Doughty hit on McDavid. McDavid continually puts himself in those knee on knee collision risks because he won’t stand in and take a hit.
Take the Oilers goggles off for a change and try to contribute something useful or just go back to felating McDavid and the rest of the Oilers on HFOil

The point I was making is McDavid does that to himself. At least half a dozen occasions this year people screaming for knee on knee when it’s Mcdavid causing it because he is too afraid to stay in for the hit. As such, the Doughty hit isn’t nearly as bad as the one Kane did last night.
There is McDavid favoritism, there is Oiler favortism, that’s not even arguable at this point.

I watch that and think the Kane hit is obviously worse than the Doughty hit. Doughty looks like he's at least going for shoulder/body contact that McDavid dodges. Kane doesn't look like he's going for body contact. Kane looks like he's intentionally going for the leg as the main point of contact. He even looks like he tries to push his opponent over his leg and trip him after first contact.
