even worse than i thought, there's no way a team could finish almost dead last that many years, they knew they weren't good enough to make the playoffs so instead of playing honest and finishing just out of playoffs like the flames for example, they planned to tank to get the good lottery chances. Oilers are so greasy, i wouldn't be surprised if that's how it played out.
