I wouldn't say the pitching sucks. The bullpen, sure, but SP seems to have a lot of question marks around it. True championship teams minimize the risk by getting more or less surefire guys. We're fine at the top I believe, but the way the Jays are minimizing risk is hoping the 3-6 or so emerge via best man comes out on top. Still too many questions for my liking. Riccardi used to pull the same tactic and signing guys who were injury prone, hoping they work out, then blaming the injury on what could've been. While not the same thing, the certainty is they didn't look good to begin with. The chances they break out of that aren't very good. Bring in someone good to mitigate your high chances your existing guys don't have it.

6 game win streak followed by 5 game losing streak (and counting) and being swept by the friggin BoSox
Gross.
4th place in the division lol
As if that's not bad enough, apparently our top prospect Tiedemann had to leave his game yesterday with some sort of bicep injury on his throwing arm.
Sometimes I think about just quitting following sports altogether. It's like 90% misery mixed with 10% good times that, with the teams I follow, never ends in a championship of any kind.

It’s what happens when you can’t develop pitchers as an organization . You have to overpay and take shot in the darks in FA
Coincidentally TSN has an article on the Atkins era and Starting pitching acquisitions
https://www.tsn.ca/target-practice-d...hing-1.1956253
Until this organization can start churning out pitching the same issues will continue

Blue jays just needed to get the hell out of Boston. This is a much more fun game to watch.

There is no way you can overturn that call at 2nd. Safe by a mile.

Not sure it was safe by a mile but it looks like there isn’t much to overturn it.

That steal of 3rd by Whit was one of the best I've seen in a while, not even a throw. Huge jump.
