Remove the diving and taking someone out play.

If you remove diving, the Oilers don't make the playoffs

It’s happened 3 times, for both teams, since then. Come on guy.
Red felt bad for the call and called the tripping too.

I don't think it was a tripping penalty but I also don't think that was worth of a cross checking call based on how every hockey game has been called so far. Poor calls on both accounts.
The Oilers sure look like the worse team though when they get hemmed in it takes a small miracle for them to get out

Nurse is always the toughest guy in the room when the refs there. What a punk b****.
Standard nurse move- go down on one knee and accomplish nothing, goalie bails him out. Then gets tough with anybody in front of the net with refs around.

God I hate it when Singh calls Nugent-Hopkins "Nuge". So cringey and unprofessional.

Skinner has been good this game. The scoreline doesn't reflect the play as much as it reflects the goaltending.

I agree, he's been good. Skinner and their PP are the only reason they're even in this game.
And of course here's the first game management make-up call.

Man, that McDavid turnover was so gorgeous. Nobody turns the puck over with such skill

I didn't mind the penalty calls, but I think calling them both was the correct call - either both or neither.
