Not surprising the bullpen looks better when they only have to go 2-3 as compared to 4-5. Not a surprise they pitched worse in games the starters couldn’t go past 5.

Merrifield sure, Kiermeier's OPS since mid April is around .400. That's putrid! He's back to being a defense/speed guy who should only bat 9th in the order.

Yep, as mentioned was posted on a graphic last night. It was at .900 something mid-April. From then it’s awful. The overall number, whatever it is now is hopefully sustainable.

I have also been wondering about Merrifield leading off. What's not to like? Good speed, good contact, getting on base a heck of a lot more than Springer.
