Was driving through Arbour Lake and saw a ton of UCP signs for Jason Luan. Wasn’t great as the NDP candidate didn’t have very many. Hopefully not a sign of things to come in that riding or city in general.

This is pretty disturbing. The UCP don't even want to be apart of Canada anymore. Vote carefully.

Never mind mental issues, some people are just too stupid to own and / or operate dangerous things.

It’s only day 1 though, and of course which streets you happen to frequent makes a huge difference for that sort of thing. If I’m being honest I drive and walk the same handful of streets in my area on most days….

Calgary north. 338 had us as lean ndp

Jesus H Christ, these people are completely bats*** insane. Please Alberta, I beg you. Don't let these lunatics take over the province. I may live in BC now, but I grew up in Calgary and I still have friends and family scattered throughout the province. Watching what's been happening there with this UCP government is incredibly disturbing.

I can see a desperate UCP adopting Steve Bannon tactics and turning on the sh#t-spigots with disinformation. Lou Arab and Rachel Notley run a sex dungeon in the basement of Chicken-On-The-Way..... Thomas Dang's laptop.... Etc.

I don’t get it.
0 new polls.
338: lowers UCP projection by one seat.
Why?

Somehow people think the UCP isn't an unmitigated disaster heading for a train wreck into a volcano in a hurricane.

If I had to guess I'd say National polls. In their model there'd be some movement based on national polls as key sentiment changes will also affect provincial politics

Really depends on how they are doing the projection. If they are just saying here's the poll results - NDP has gained 10% since the last election - so any seat they lost by less than 10% - they will now win - and that is your adjustment.
Ideally you'd want projections by the 'regions' of Alberta - Calgary, Edmonton and rural. I.e. if NDP is +15% in Edmonton, +5% in Calgary and -5% in Rural - that doesn't move the needle much in terms of seats. But if its +15% in Edmonton, +15% in Calgary and -10% in rural - the seats change a lot more.
I don't know how detailed the polls are now and if they have or use the splits by region.

I’m also Calgary west. A bunch of ucp signs popped up yesterday. About 10-4 ucp to NDP in the streets I walked the dog on this morning.

Smith must think voters are absolute utter morons. She's promising to get rid of the carbon tax. Remember how Kenney tried that, went to the Supreme Court and lost? WTF is she planning om doing, taking it to the Really Supreme Court?
Presumably this falls in line with our own pension, police force, tax collection, and ultimately thinking they have the ability to #### off form Canada. Which they do, I just wish they'd do it right now and leave the rest of the province alone. How can Conservatives support this? But oh, hey, Notley is scary.

Is there any evidence that the signs sway voters one way or the other? Those signs can’t be that cheap.
