Given who’s left, it would take a massive collapse for the Oilers not to win the Cup fairly easily now.

seriously? there is a boatload of excellent teams still playing.
Knights are just as good as the Oilers. Better, if you look at where they finishes in the standings.

Heck, Dallas for example is probably the most complete team left in the west.
They have goaltending no other team does.

Look at the east. Carolina is a really good team. Like them or not, Toronto is solid. NJ and NY both have excellent teams.

Some exciting hockey still to come

Geez, it was almost like it was planned. League is a scam.

With Boston, Tampa and Colorado gone, a EDM-TOR final is a little too close for comfort.

Do it Vegas.

It's never easy to win the Cup. I don't care who is left.

8 teams left, the best likely has no more than a 20% chance of winning. And I'm not sure the Oilers are the best.

At the end of the day, we are talking about the Bruins and Colorado out. That's two teams. Tampa wasn't even the favourite over Toronto.

I called the Knights frauds at the start of the Jets series. I was wrong, and for the sake of this series hope that error in judgment continues.

Knights in 7

The one good thing about the Oilers making the playoffs is you start seeing which posters actually like them by exposing themselves.

If Edmonton win this series, they probably are the favs to win the cup. Still can lose but IMO Vegas has the best team of the teams left to beat the Oilers.

If Vegas gets good goaltending the should win this one.

D and forwards are just way deeper than the Oilers are.

I know Oiler fans are despicable in general, but I wasn't aware they go around "exposing themselves".

Good to know.

Oilers win this in 4 easily. They're the greatest team to ever play. 4 shutouts wouldn't surprise me either.

I think Dallas would be very tough to beat, especially with a very superior goaltender. I think they are even better than Vegas because of goaltending.

Vegas is excellent at exiting the zone and creating offense. I've never seen a team move so well together, move together as a unit get the puck up as fast, and generate quality scoring chances quickly. That said their penalty kill was atrocious and that could be a really big problem against mcwhiner and the bunch

Pretty much every team left is better than Edmonton.

Don't think so if you read twitter the Oilers are the best team ever in NHL history.

I fully expect them to sweep the next 3 series without conceding a goal and McDavid getting credit with a shutout as well.

Vegas will be lucky to get a shot on net.

Las Vegas in 6. Conna starts fake limping by game 3, as the series turns against the Oilers and Pissy starts being pissy and screaming at his team mates on the bench.

The Rangers might be the best team left too if they can get their big guns going. But they also might lose game 7 tonight. Panarin and Zib have 6 points combined in 6 games. If those 2 get rolling, they are stacked.

I think Dallas has the best roster of the teams remaining. If they get Pavelski back which I'm assuming they will since he started skating, that is a playoff roster from G out. High end skill, Vezina level goalie, top tier depth scoring and Heiskinen. Edmonton only has one of those things.

Second playoffs that Roberston looks underwhelming I never noticed him at all in our series last year.

But Dallas has a #1 goalie #1 C and #1 D they have elite talent in the most important positions.

Looks about as underwhelming as McDavid. He's the player other teams key on to free up dominant linemates.
