Kraken might just be a tougher team for the Oilers. More structure, better goaltending right now. Avs have offence, but they wouldn’t be able to outgun Edmonton.

Colorado is too injured to defeat Edmonton this year IMO.

Oilers must be salivating with big guns falling off.
The name Kailer is going to be engraved on the Stanley Cup

I hope the Kraken can hang on. This is a great first round results of teams who I favour so far.

Yet if both Colorado and Boston get bounced in rnd 1 that is really shocking.

I still think the Oilers are in trouble with Vegas, and as much as I'm loving this Seattle ride, Dallas is also hot at the right time with a world class goalie

Why are you guys worried about the Kraken losing to Edmonton. Wouldn't Edmonton have to first beat Vegas and Seattle have to beat Dallas before they would even play each other?

I wouldn't worry about either of these teams and the Oilers with Dallas and their goaltending

It’s hilariously always like that. Every year nobody predicts upsets and every year, upsets. Teams are just way closer than people think.

Wtf is going on. Same thing happened in 06 when oilers played complete joke of teams en route to finals due to all the upsets.

A grand total of one upset has occurred.

Agreed
Actually think Vegas might be the easiest team for the Oilers to face in the west. All up hill from here. The east still has some tough team remaining, Carolina/jersey could be a war.
Just hope whoever wins out there doesn’t get too beat up

This year's Avs are hobbled. No Nichushkin, No Landeskog, Just lost Cogliano. The Kraken are a well-rounded team even though they don't have the gamebreakers the Avs do (Beniers and potentially Wright down the road could become gamebreakers)

And just like that, it shows why you can't take penalties against this team
