I just don’t know they don’t go with robo umps. Those missed calls has a 4 run impact to the game. Fans are tied of it and it’s perfectly solvable with technology

The 2023 Jays are not as hated by the league and umps as much as the 2015-2017 teams were, but I still find that whenever I see #umpshow trending on twitter it's usually the Jays that are falling victim. Kinda like the lingering Wideman effect with the Flames.

Jays got screwed alot those years but there are just some flat out bad geriatric umps. Hopefully the robots are on their way.

Just started watching, but it shouldn't have been an ugly inning at all - clear strike would have ended the inning. Instead, 2 clear strikes called balls and both guys walk.
The bad calls cost Bisset 20 pitches and 4 runs. The 1st inning should have been over with no runs and 17 pitches

OK....but it was.
He made a terrible pitch with the sacks full, regardless of how they got there.
I don't think that is in dispute.
One hell of a response from what is quickly becoming not a good team....but a great one. Awesome to watch.
