The funny thing is you have other teams copying the hr jacket and those dumb gimmicks. So glad they stopped that rubbish.

Swanson is one of the best relievers in the game this season

We also used the $ savings to sign KK, so that needs to be considered as part of the deal

This is hilarious. It's even more absurd when you look at every other division in baseball.

Main reason why Teo is a Mariner.
And don't forget Macko who was also in the deal, injured last year but this lefty kid has a lot of upside and is clocking upper 90's for Vancouver even with the rough start.

Even including that the format still wouldn't reward the best teams. Maybe this could be an exceptional year but it seems to be a long time coming.

True. One solution would be to use divisions only for scheduling and have a single table for ranking playoffs.

Or if the division winner has a worse record they lose homefield

#BlueJays have reacquired veteran catcher Tyler Heineman from Pittsburgh in exchange for minor league utilityman Vinny Capra.
Heineman added to the 40, optioned to Triple-A.
Jordan Luplow removed from 40 to make room.

They traded one year of Teoscar for 3 years of control on Swanson. Asset management view it might have been an even up trade.

Kelenic should've been a strike out but instead walks. Raleigh should've been a strike out but instead gets a walk

Time to do something here. Bats have been cold in this series and 4-0 isnt too much to come back from.

2 on 1 out. C'mon Chapman
