Yeah I did this. Waste of 1.5 hours but it solved the issue so whatever. Just GMG.

Nah, I already found the tracking devices. It was Major League Baseball again.

I would worry if there was a serious enough problem with the engine that driving it exacerbated it to where it caused a problem. Then you need to prove to the rental agency it wasn’t your fault and also why you continued to drive it with the “check engine” light on, meanwhile they put some exorbitant charge on your credit card.

Maybe I'm lucky, but I've never had major issues with rental cars.
I did have to complain once, customer service was kinda meh at first, but once they heard the details of the issue and confirmed the issue, they were awesome. I even had a regional manager apologized profusely and upgraded then comp the whole rental.
My complaint was a very legit complaint though.

Self driving cars and AI reporting, but 2023 can’t develop diapers that contain children’s diarrhea?

Could you imagine how insufferable a team would be if they won? I want a Canadian team to win too....the Calgary Flames...and nobody else.

I used to feel this way (F all the other Canadian teams!) but as hockey has become more of a secondary hobby / interest over the years I lean more towards wanting a Canadian team to win regardless of who it is. These big American cities with sometimes multiple franchises across every major league -- especially the non-traditional hockey markets, they honestly don't care. Like twenty years from now is anyone there going to remember Tampa's back to back Cups, or LA Kings wins in 2012 and 2014? No, because they've just moved on to bigger and more recent championships in other leagues and always have something else to cheer for.
A Canadian team winning a Cup, any Canadian team, goes down as an all-time legendary accomplishment for that city. The fans will tell stories to their grandchildren of where they were when it went down. The Cup belongs in Canada and it's been way too long, so I hope for a Canadian team to win even if it's Edmonton or Toronto.

^that’s one reason I’m hoping for a Toronto-Edmonton final. I know this is an unpopular view here.

Damn inflation has finally hit APEGA membership fees. I was just looking at my receipts the other day for the past few years and was surprised that the fee hasn't gone up. Well they just emailed an update that there will be a $54 per year, 15%, increase this summer.

Trying to find a family physician. I need one to get a referral to a specialist otherwise they won't see me.
Mostly every.... damn.... call I make based on the online lists of "accepting new patients", I get told the wait list for the first appointment is 4-12 months away. Yes, a YEAR. I comment that wait list of a year to get a family doctor isn't really "accepting new patients", but they deem it is, they just don't say when. I wonder if this is a UCP thing. Probably can say, "look at all these doctors accepting patients, there's no problem!" Ya sure.
The rest of them, they aren't accepting at all, but they are listed as doing so.

No, it's a symptom of the problems our (Canada) health care system is facing across the country.
But yes, it's frustrating finding a family physician. We're going through the same thing at our household. In the past couple of years we've had the following issues:
1. find a Dr. who then moves to a different clinic within a few months and is not transferring their patients over with them
2. find a Dr. who will take you on as long as you also sign up for their specialty (on top of family medicine) and which they charge for
3. find a Dr. who accepts you and then promptly goes on maternity leave and does not return.

Don't forget to submit your CPD hours. The new online system finally launched in March, and anyone outstanding (incl. yours truly...) had until Sunday to submit it.
If it wasn't for the last minute nothing would get done.
