I'll admit that I hate the Leafs and because of that it might make me extra bitter about certain things and right now I feel that the Toronto media, both TSN and SN, is working exceptionally hard to pump the tires of Matthew Knies. I get that the sample size is small for his NHL games but he just seems so overrated right now.

The refs got what they wanted - a game that's even on calls, including the softy against Brodie earlier. They weren't about to spoil that.

I more or less agree. But I could see them pandering to the situation of wanting game 7 drama as well as pandering to the home crowd.

On a side note, I'm watching on the Sportsnet app, and I keep getting these Canada's Got Talent commercials and they're probably the most annoying set of cheese promotions I've ever seen. Nobody's goign to watch a show to get panel facial reactions and watch nonsense acts. How are they pouring money into such poor product?
