I’ll take Theo’s advice and vote as if my life depends on it. For the NDP.
I can’t believe I’m doing that. I feel like neither of the two parties represents my values and beliefs.

Don't think of it as voting for the NDP.

Think of it as voting for the APCP, Alberta Progressive Centrist Party.

Hilarious to see the "15 min city" conspiracy pop up in his insane ramblings, read about that last month and had a good laugh. Not sure if it's due to past concussions but he's absolutely working with a diminished mental capacity.

I work closely with some rural municipalities. There is diminished mental capacity throughout the province.

Ironically, I am slated to attend the WEF in June to discuss regional planning. |

That's what happens when you feed on a steady diet of Western Standard, Rebel, and conspiracy addled man children's twitter feeds.

Let this be a warning to all those who follow these sources. Can we have a wellness check on Yoho?

As usual, voting for the lesser of two evils, rather than someone we can be proud to represent us/our province.

The idea that Rachel Notley represents an evil is so ####ing hilarious and out of touch to me. She is an absolutely wonderful person and a warrior for the working people.

Danielle Smith is a bozo who is self interested and has no critical thinking.

What is the lunatic far-right's problem with 15 minute cities? Shouldn't everyone -- regardless of political views -- want to live in an area where everything you need (employment, shopping, entertainment, other amenities) is located in close proximity to your home? Or is this just some more culture war nonsense where they're screeching about a fictitious "war on cars", and anything that urban progressives want must be de facto bad in their view?

I've never heard of this exact phrase before today, but I've definitely heard the basic theory for years.

So I guess all the new developments that promote "Live, Work, Play" are all SPREADING WOKISM!!! (or is it WOKEISM)

 RIP Theo.

I think he lost most of his brain cells to alcohol back in the 90s/2000s. Science has shown they do not grow back, the brain tries to adapt by forging new synaptic connections but overtime, it just diminishes and gets worse. He's finally lost his marbles in a literal sense.

Yes, this.

Some morons heard the term "15 minute city" and started saying that people wanted to put up walls around your neighbourhood and you wouldn't be allowed to leave the area and other morons believed them.

I think it more relates to the communist version of 15 minute cities. where everything is within 15minutes but you also need clearance to leave your "area"

Small minded people fear the unknown and this is the latest fearmongering talking point. Fear that we are all going to be locked within our 15 minute city.

Is Theo a plant for the NDP because I suspect he is driving more people to vote NDP than UCP.
Or maybe he is just a plant.

Theo has his convoy benefactor, but is likely also getting funding via dark money channels. Hanging with the likes of Roger Stone for example.

Obviously not calling her evil, but one of two less than desirable options.

Yes and your political leanings aren't bleeding through whatsoever there.

I don't know. She didn't follow through on much last time that was hit on in her campaign. Wasn't a massive detriment, but she proved to be somewhat incompetent. Also impressively poor with PR.

Being a good person doesn't necessarily always translate to good leadership or political prowess. But maybe she's learned a few things from those experiences. If she prevails, I hope that's the case.

Whichever way the election goes, I'm neither hopeful nor confident in either outcome based on the experiences we've had with both candidates.
