Yeah, that interaction between Bean and Gilbertson was playful...Gilbertson was fishing and directed the question at Bean since all the other parties already were asked and answered on the timeline.

There's a lot of community rinks, pools, etc. that need upgrades.

But they will likely earn incremental annual revenue of $35m. Which might breakdown something like $5m from incremental venue rental for non-CSEC events, generate $10-$20m in annual facility tax, generate incremental $10m-$20m by increasing ticket prices and the number of luxury boxes for the Calgary Flames.

So basically, the CSEC is out $40m today and then every year going forward they make an extra $15-$20m a year after paying rent of $17m.

As for the Bean thing at the end. It's like when the kids ask mom a bunch of times for a snack and she said no 5 times already so the kids think asking dad will change things, instead you get put in your place. That was great by Bean. And it was clearly meant in jest.

I didn't think so. Everyone laughing at the reporter and then ending the event was a horrible look.

Could have easily said it a different way to not humiliate the reporter.

I didn't see it that way at all. Judging by how all the media had a good chuckle, I think they saw it the same way. Just a little playful banter.
