Divide that by what 5-6? Edwards is the chairman but one of like six or seven owners.

Hahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhaahaaaaaa

Is there anyone on earth who doesn't know who owns the Premier now? It was pretty obvious already with the insertion of guys like Simpson into Alberta Energy, but this is just *chef's kiss*

Katz is going to literally #### himself.

Well, I should have some time to get back to Calgary to watch one last game at the 'Dome. Haven't been since 2012.

Rick Bell asks about the election.

What if that mean Rachel Notley gets in?

Honestly just embarrassing.
Blame the city and Gondek for that one.

The first deal was fair IMO, and it was obvious they would have been better off eating that $25M for solar panels and roads instead of reneging on the deal. Especially since the Flames had agreed to pay the overrun for the original deal. M

Now instead of ~$350M from the initial deal the city is on the hook for $500M+.

I'll be honest spending $1.2B and not getting a new stadium out of it too kind of stings. I would love to see if they could get something similar to Juventus stadium that was posted for around $300M.

I've been to that stadium and it's not fancy but was super practical and was a good stadium.

As a flames fan it's exciting to get a new arena.

As a calgarian, the city and province is getting absolutely screwed.

The rich get richer...

Oh look, another person that doesn't know, or just ignores, that that cost change was part of the original deal.

Seems like a good deal?
Does that imply the cost has gone up $550mil then?

The additional amenities and infrastructure will have to be significantly in Calgary’s interest to make it similar to the last deal. Murray gets a crazy break by not putting the cash up front as well.

Who is going to own this facility? Is there going to be a ticket tax?

If you assume an $6 per ticket facility tax, it basically pays for CSEC's portion of $17m per year...
