Pretty nice for an undrafted 25 year old to get called up mid-season and work his way to a one way contract. Good for him, he's a nice fit in the bottom 6.

This should alleviate the need to sign another journeyman 4th line veteran and is exactly what the franchise needs more of moving forward.
Cheap, improving talent that can quite likely outperform their contract by a vast margin.

True, though Lewis is the epitome of a no cap space signing. $800K for what he brought last year was fine, and it's less than an ELC contract.
