The Jays bullpen is down to very few trusted arms right now. As Barker would say, they need some more “no brainers” to come in and shut things down. Cimber ain’t one.

2 - 1 in this series, but the real good news is that Manoah looked great and Gausman looked unhittable.

The really, really good news is that the entire rotation looked strong over the last five outings.

They've now gone one time through with strong outings.
The last rough start was Gausman vs the Astros.

Win every series vs division teams they have and they'll be fine. They look more than fine.
Also, powder blues should be worn as much as possible. White is fine too. Ditch the dark blue BP looking jerseys.

The white ones are so sharp. Love the powder blues though you’re right.
Strength of schedule will even out. The jays have had really two softer opponents in Detroit and KC. Tampa has played Washington, Reds, Nationals and White Sox. None of those teams currently have more than 7 wins.

Yeah pretty hard to be discouraged about taking 5/9 against Tampa, Houston and NY with 6 being on the road. A bit more luck and we could have won another game there (game 3 against Houston, 2 against NY). As said above winning both division series is nice too. Not our fault that Baltimores schedule so far is a joke and Tampa has only lost one game to anyone not us this year.

Apparently Pearson is on his way to Toronto. Unsure what the corresponding move is though.

I could see Cimber, and based on early results that's who it should be.
According to fangraphs he still has options, so if it's not an IL stint and they do send him down, hopefully he can work things out down there and still be an depth option. Something is off with him though, his already limited velocity is down from last season, and so is his usually steady control.
As for Pearson, good for him. Hopefully he can stay healthy and command his pitches. If he can, he will certainly be a weapon out of the pen.

It would have to be another pitcher. You can only have 13 on the roster.

He has probably been the worst of the bunch this year.
