Yeah, totally. Like the Kings can't possibly win. It's just so impossible. They're out now.
Why even play Game 5? Who cares about Las Vegas or Winnipeg? Just crown the Oilers.
Am I doing this right?

What a weak goal.
The Oilers are trash defensively all LA needed to do was keep up the offensive pressure and shoot and crash the net.

This is fine, the thread needed another period of doubt/dramatics to feed the eventual WoS.
Going to be a gooder.
Looking forward to hearing from the sky is falling convert-ists over the next 48.

We need the video of when the Flames beat the best team in the NHL in 2004 after losing Game 4 to make it 2-2.

Kane should be in an orange jumpsuit raking ditches. Or the sun.
Feels all kinds of wrong for him to enjoy any kind of glory, let alone be playing NHL games.
Of course shortly thereafter he swings his elbow round at Roy in disgusting fashion.
Not particularly inclined to eastern religions, but if there are karmic forces at work out there... "let's go"

Kane being in the NHL is embarrassing and the way the Oilers and scumbag fans cheering him on like a hero is disgusting.
A person like him doesn't deserve to enjoy any success and happiness.

####ing correct. I've been harping on the Kane thing since the oilers signed him. The league allowed the Sharks to cancel his contract because there are credible allegations he is a wife beater and dead beat dad with a gambling problem. It is beyond disgusting this ####ing clown is in the league.

That was a character win by the Oilers, coming back from a 3-0 in the playoffs is crazy.
Ekholm has made an enormous impact on their defence, especially to Bouchards game.

Gotta love how even the dimmest oilers fan was pulling out aero-space engineering theories on the rotation of the puck, when most oilers fans can’t even figure out which way the wind is blowing on any given day. I’d bet they won’t analayze the ‘penalties’ that went in their favour this game too much (I.e. Fiala penalty on Pissy.

Yeah, much like their fanbase. They have so much character that they require validation from opposing teams fanbases because it's the only thing that will mask the depths of their own inferiority and insecurity.

Almost.. almost makes up for the 9.25M AAV liability eating top pairing minutes.
Maybe if nurse kneels enough times he'll eventually stop that imaginary cross crease pass.
Until then LA will just keep filling the net while he's proposing.

They're just saying it evens out the travesty they had to go through in game 1 and 3. Like Pissy's slash on Doughty that he even admitted was dumb.

Help, save, whatever.

I wanted the Oilers to lose but once Campbell came in everything changed and I was rooting for Jack. He's a great guy by all accounts and is really emotional so I'm glad he played great in relief and won them the game.

What a lame reason to abandon a logical and morally sound position.
By cheering for Campbell you by extension also cheer for Evander Kane. Just chew on that thought for a bit, then go stand in the corner.

My oilers fan buddy adamant Fiala tripped Pissy and sends me a still with Fialas stick touching Pissy’s skate. I watched in slow-mo, Fiala pushes with the left arm and pissy goes down. Stick not touching skates. As pissy is falling, Fialas stick touches skate.
Oiler fan claims it was a trip.
You can’t cure delusional.

Yep, I saw a bunch of people on Twitter say that when that "zach" whiner posted the video.
Like you said, Pissy was already falling from the hit when the stick touches his skate.

Lol, without that garbage penalty call on Fiala, this game probably doesn't even get to OT. Only reason the Oilers aren't down 3-1 is because their pissing and moaning to the league actually seemed to work, resulting in the refs feeding them timely PPs in the 2nd period when they were on the ropes.
And McDavid still can't score 5 on 5. Word's best player, my ass.
Kings in 6.

Or even calling the penalty that would have negated the second goal.

Unless you’re Boston playing Toronto in the third period of game 7
