I still don’t get why some people don’t remove the sticker of the brim of their baseball caps. It looks stupid af.

You will have the fried chicken.

Also why don’t you just go to their website.

Also you can put your name on the waiting list before you leave your house

I did. It was more of an observation after checking out the driving directions and hours, that all of the pictures people took of the menu were just embarrassingly bad and kind of surprised that so many people would post those publicly.

That hat sticker thing is a step up (ie better) than that late 1990's (or was it early 2000's) fad of leaving the dangly tag on the hat/cap.

Old guys in the gym showers, in particular, have absolutely no ####s left to give. They're all out. Everything's out, front-and-centre, one leg up on the bench...

Dude it's worse than that... a few weeks ago some old dude (at least 65+) had his leg up on the sink COUNTER and was liberally applying the supplied lotion to all parts the sun don't shine. Can't unsee that. Now you can't unread it either.

And to be clear, it wasn't me.

I'm far from 65+.

I'm not ashamed of my parts, and I'll change/shower in communal locker rooms around people.

But I certainly don't go around flaunting things either or walk around the room naked.

I don't think that's abnormal though. I have zero issue with that kind of thing and it's never bothered me. But I know what these posts mean, because if you've spent time in a change room, you've probably seen it. Years and years ago, I was debating signing up for the fancier Y membership at Eau Claire. In that special change room, this old guy is sitting there naked reading the newspaper just hanging out. It's just bizarre.

Like after sports, I get sitting there in various states of undress to cool off before the shower, to make sure it "takes". But I don't sit there completely naked and I don't think anyone else does.

The one that got me was when I was volunteering with my kids school swim trip. I took the boys into the change room, and there was an old guy in the shower soaping off. 30 minutes later we come back, and he's still there soaping away, a plan he continued the entire time it took for all 25 boys to shower, dry off, change and leave.

Edited to add: this was two classes boys from grade 1/2. They took a long time to get dressed.

That dude who was 65+ and still putting his leg up on the counter should be applauded for his abilities. Not something I would try in public.

Yeah, credit to the late-60s guy who can pull that off unaided.

The guy who writes 'The Oatmeal' is a really cynical jerk and he nails my kind of humour.

Are you telling me you haven't sat around a dressing room naked with your mates drinking until every hook in the room had an empty pitcher of beer on it?

I thought he left the band, and they would welcome him back. He's not interested?

Haha, well I was careful to say change room in my post for a reason. Truth is, the locker room or dressing room is a different venue than a gym change room though?

And I’m not sure about just plain naked. Various states of undress, yeah definitely.

What happened with SAITs cooking classes? I remember my wife and I did a few evening classes, but I can’t find anything now, unless you want to enrol in a full-blown culinary program.

I'm pretty sure they shut them down during the pandemic, but I don't know if they have re-started them. If you've checked, I presume they haven't restarted them yet.

I believe someone said they increased the student restaurant program, but I haven't looked into that myself to confirm this was the case.
