I guess you understand that if 99.9% people dropped a loonie down a storm drain would not care about if after the initial 10 seconds of disappointment. That’s kind of the normal reaction to opening up a pack of cards that didn’t have the players you wanted.

Wow dude, I can’t believe you’re calling him a MISOGYNIST. All he is SAYING is that he doesn’t care about women’s hockey… and that he refuses to spend $1 on a hockey card pack because it might include a female hockey player, an aspect that should be explicitly advertised (beyond a female hockey player being featured on all the advertisements) because how why ANYONE assume a ‘legend of hockey’ could include a woman???
In fact, they should pause every time someone goes to buy one of these card packs and say, “Excuse me, we are required to warn every customer that these card packs MAY contain a female hockey legend. By agreeing to purchase this card pack, you absolve Tim Horton’s of any legal responsibility for any damages that may occur as a result of a portion of your $1 being used to acquire a cardboard picture of a hockey player that may have a female body underneath their hockey equipment. If you agree to these terms, please say ‘yes.’”
Tim Horton’s must be stopped.

Throwing money away for hopes of a TH Gretzky card worth negative value is the problem. Think of the dollars we as a society pay for recycling all of these Oiler hockey cards.

That's fine, but at the same time, who publicly posts their outrage in 2 of 3 hockey cards being women hockey players?
If you really "simply don't care", you kind of don't voice that do you? Like, that kind of seems how simply not caring works. It just literally involves opening up the pack of cards, tossing the ones you don't like, and never speaking of it again. Maybe I am not doing the "don't care" thing right.

Here, I’ll make this more interesting for the hockey haters:
I saw pictures of women in The Legends of Rascal Mobility Quarterly. I was so bummed out that I threw the magazine away and cancelled my free subscription.

There’s like ads everywhere, how can anyone resist the allure of 3 hockey cards for $1. It’s like simultaneously a horrible deal and also too cheap to pass up.

It is going better than when OutoftheCube tried to comment on the LQBTQ+ community in the Pride night thread, though. That was really bad.

I don’t have any issues with dogs but I have purposely avoided those places since the time I saw our server petting and playing with two different dogs at separate tables right before running into the kitchen to grab our food and coming out with it so fast that she clearly didn’t wash her hands first.

A brewery local to where I live now allows dogs inside... Find it a little weird and gross, and unfortunate for anyone allergic, fearful, dislikes dogs.
On the other hand, I can now take my dog for a walk and stop in for a pint. It's great.

Why are people bringing their dogs into stores? Is it to socialize them? I don't really get it. I'm a dog owner and I've never thought to myself, "I need to pick up some drywall screws, let's take the dog for a walk at HomeDepot."

I was eating a dine-in/takeout type place and a person tried to come in with a dog. The restaurant staff were great and were quick to tell her there is a place to tie the dog up outside; and noted the sign on the door, that she must have seen, that pet’s aren’t allowed. She was like, “i am just coming in quick to get some takeout”, but the staff fortunately were pretty firm and she didn’t even get through the door.

Alright, I'm on this train too.
What is going on here? What has been the fundamental shift? I bring my dog to work because I have my own business, my own office and he's hypoallergenic and generally a pretty nice dog.
But if I want to just leave him alone at home for a day my wife acts like I'm committing some sort of high crime.
Because I agree with you, why do we have to bring our dogs absolutely everywhere??
I wonder if it has something to do with leaving dogs in cars or something?
"You cant leave your dog in the car!!"
For the 4 minutes I'm in 7-11 he will be fine.
But some crazy person might break your windows or something.

Are you familiar with the term 'dog mom'?
Basically, you aren't having kids, so the dog becomes your kid. And because kids are annoying in restaurants whereas the dog generally just sits there, it is becoming more and more acceptable to bring dogs onto places like bar/restaurant patios and stuff.
Actually in the restaurant is a new one on me, frankly. But if I had to choose between being seated beside a table with a dog or a table with a child under the age of 10, I'll take the dog table every time.

Guessing that’s probably the least of your worries when it comes to hygiene in the kitchen. I’ve often heard owners of restaurants say they don’t eat in restaurants, but I have no interest in finding out why. Ignorance is bliss.
We don’t take our dogs out with us unless it’s a “Dog” activity, but it sure is cool to hit a patio for a beer and snacks if the mood hits us and the dogs are with us (i.e. Banff)

I saw someone Christmas shopping at homesense with their dog. Why? There is no reason for your dog to be in homesense. Zero.
People would probably freak the Fata out if I should up with a cat.
