Grass makes sense timing wise, but not more than a couple of months ago I had heard Milos was pointing to a return in time for Indian Wells and/or Miami.
Hopefully he is not already having injury issues or this could be a short lived return.

I’m getting deja vu in a bad way

"Hello everyone.
It's been a while since I communicated directly with you. These past weeks and months have been difficult.
As you know, I suffered a significant injury in my Psoas while in Australia. Initially, the recovery period was expected to be six to eight weeks, but we are now at week fourteen. The reality is that the situation is not what we had hoped for. I have followed all medical instructions, but somehow the progress has not been as expected, and we find ourselves in a challenging situation. I had hoped to play in tournaments that are the most important in my career, such as Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, and Roland Garros, but for now, I have missed Monte Carlo and Barcelona, and unfortunately, I won't be able to play in Madrid.
The injury is still not healing, and I cannot work as much as I need to compete. I was training, but a few days ago, we decided to change our approach, try a different treatment, and see if things improve to try and reach whatever comes next. I cannot provide a timeline because if I knew, I would tell you, but I don't know. This is the current situation.
I also want to send a special greeting to all the fans in Madrid and Spain because I will have missed the two tournaments played here at home. You all know what it means to me to play in these tournaments, and in this case, Madrid, which I won't be able to play despite all it has given me.
All I can do is try to maintain the right attitude during this time, try to give myself a chance to compete in one of the remaining tournaments of the clay season, and I have no choice but to work and maintain the right mindset.
A big hug to everyone, and as soon as I have news, I will let you know. Thank you!"

Tennis mirrors life in that some days are good and some days are not so good...Coco did not have a good day on the court today.

Francisco Cerundolo is having a great 2023 - Adds another top 10 win earlier today with a victory over Casper Ruud. Aside from winning the title in Estoril, it has not been a good year for the Norwegian.

Sad news to pass on as Rafa's father-in-law has passed away at the age of 63 (way too young).

The fact that this occurred at his home tournament and on his birthday is the icing on the cake.

Fun fact: my former boss went to primary school with Chris O'Connell. Here's an interview she did with him if anyone is interested: https://www.thinklocal.com.au/articl...ws/match-point

Novak pulls out of Madrid with a suspected persistent elbow problem. What will it be this time, rehab, surgery, healing water, or love guru?

I think he fell victim to a pyramid scheme, Jack.
