Jesus. I live downtown, so I figure an apres rip on my Bonny. So it's snowing on crowchild, and I pass some complete mook with his hazards on. What kind of evaluation of one's life must occur, to be driving a new SUV, going about 50 in a snowstorm on Crowchild, whilst passed by a motorcyclist.

Not to be outdone, another tosspot pulls a triple lane change across 12th, and has me almost rear ending him.

When I'm dictator, I euthanize those people.

Well at least I'll have a good reason to wash the car again on the weekend.

Got about 2" of non-pavement accumulation on the west hill - definitely nothing like that in the forecast...

Wait. Are you saying there was snow and the NW didn't get anything? That never happens

Yeah it's weird. My wife came home last night with snow accumulation on her car and we received nothing. It's usually the other way around.

Well scraping the ice and trying to open my car door was fun this morning. Wasn't expecting an ice coated car.

Came home from Springbank at 8. Was a full-on Blizzard all the way from Aspen to about Stoney and Anderson. Bone dry from 22x all the way home.

There was a good 5cm of snow on the grass in Springbank Hill. Stoney was covered in a snow slurry that made seeing the lines impossible.

It was pretty funny last night scrolling on Instagram and seeing all the posts from a bunch of refugees living in the city who seemed to be completely shocked that it snows here in April. I tried telling as many of them that I met in person that April is fake spring and not to assume we are in the clear. Funny seeing how shocked they were.

Haha, the only truly snow-safe months around here are June / July / August. That's when we get hail instead.

Not June!

Thoguh I do seem to remember having snow in every month. Some of that might be Canmore memories though.

... But we're all on the same page that it's too early for hail, right?

I've lived in Calgary since the mid-90's and I've experienced snow in every month of the year.

I would be more worried about having the catalytic converter sawed off.
