Rumours that Bayley walked out of Raw last night. I don't really blame her.

Yep, if Vince is trying to take the final say back it's going to be such a huge detriment to the product.

Things really only will get better forever when he dies =\.

His comments here says it all:

Are you in control?

Yes and no, so essentially yes.

Vince came back to facilitate the sale. In my mind he wanted to find a buyer who would allow him to get back in control. Looks like he got his way, as always.

Its getting easier and easier to just become a super casual fan.

Fast forward through 2 or 3 hour shows in 20 minutes, or read or watch the highlights. If I see a match I like tune into the ppv.

I'll likely keep the network because of the ability to watch the libraries. There's literally nothing better then watching old ECW PPV's or mid 90's shows during the Monday Night Wars or even attitude era stuff.

I tried AEW and outside of the uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous ring work, I can't watch a lot of their storylines anymore. Even MJF who I really like and respect has become flat.

WWE was on fire for a few weeks leading up to wrestlemania. But their story lines are ok, but their actual wrestling work is pretty stale to me.

But I don't need to watch 5 to 7 hours or wrestling a week.

Fantastic Dynamite tonight, good job AEW. Lots of momentum around the product suddenly.

Anyone else checked out Dungeon Wrestling at the Pavilion? I’m going Friday, curious how the shows have been so far.

WWE is going to regret missing out on Jay White. He is such a natural villain, is an incredible wrestler, oozes charisma, and, is only 30. Guy has star written all over him.

It was storyline related to build buzz for her to play disgruntled at how she feels the WWE is treating Damage Control.

She's on Raw tonight.

It sounds like there were travel issues for Raw workers tonight so the show has been rewritten multiple times.

If anyone's curious, flights from YYC to YQY this weekend run about $1,600 return. $156 for hotel. Then taxi and tickets at the door:

If you're not *that* curious, I do answer a few questions for the media in the above article.

Rumours from a few different sources, including Dax Harwood, that Punk wants to come back to AEW soon.

Yeah, I saw that, Punk suppossedly offered a scenario where he would work with the EVP's which would be money. But the Bucks and Omega don't feel the same way.

Punk also said he was fine with working completely seperate from and not dealing with the EVPs.

There's also a third option being talked about that Punk would do the ROH brand, which would be dumb.

The fourth option is that Tony and Punk come to an agreement on a release.

Meltzer a while back did a piece where he said that Punk needed to apologize to the AEW locker room and the EVP's and Punk basically told Meltzer on line to eat his own face.

AEW needs a bonifide main event guy that's a draw. Punk is that.

I do get why there would be bad blood and tension between the groups.

But I honestly think Punk+FTR vs Omega+Young Bucks would easily be the biggest fued in Wrestling this year if done right.

IIRC there was some discussion that Punk and Omega didnt have much beef either and it was more Punk and the YBs.

Which makes it even easier to work around - just do Omega vs Punk and FTR vs YBs as the payoff matches if the YBs refuse to work a trios match.

Backstage fights are nothing new in wrestling. Need to put the egos aside and do what would be best for AEW here.

Sure its a huge money potential match that can turn around the ratings and attendance issues that AEW is having right now.

If I was Tony, I would back the truck up to all parties, Punk and the Young Bucks and tell them to play nice, because I'm the MF'ing boss.

If the Bucks don't want to do business, which rumors make it sound like and squash their beef. Then do Omega vs Punk (not near as interesting) Have FTR squash the Bucks.

A couple of other things.

Its good to see The Fresh Prince's Dad has taken up wrestling.

Can we encourage Jericho to go on a Fozzy tour of the international space station?

Saraya is awful, she's actually pulling down a really good worker in Toni Storm by association.

There are just too many money feuds for Punk not to come back. He still has unfinished business with MJF and Hangman, too. He's also been very outspoken about wanting to work with Adam Cole, which would be a banger, IMO.

I'll also say that I watched Dynamite for the first time in months last night, and thought it was much better with most of the ROH crap finally off the show.

The four pillars and BCC vs. The Elite feuds have my attention. Jericho vs. Cole should deliver some good moments.

Still think adding a third singles title was a mistake, but whatever.

I love the idea of AEW's four pillars. Looks like Tony listened to the feedback of them just rehashing WWE retreads, and have finally decided to look inwards for their next stars (and actually promote them as such). Also, can't wait until Powerhouse Hobbs becomes the (acknowledged) fifth pillar; I love where his character is going. Once he ditches QT Marshall and goes out on his own (and he will), he's going to be so, so over. If played right, Starks could be a massive star for the company too.

One thing I'm not liking is the amount of run-ins after a match... why does AEW do this for literally almost every match? That formula is becoming tired, boring and predictable. And I agree with Cap, Saraya is just awful.

Saraya is the perfect example of somebody where the injury and inability to wrestle actually made them be looked at more favourably than they really were.

Outside of her initial debut she wasn't very good in WWE either.

She absolutely killed all the momentum Toni Storm had, and really the women's division has a whole has lost some momentum.

My fave time period for the AEW women's division was when Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa were trying to kill each other, hands down. Their hatred, long-term feud and then that deathmatch they had with the tables and tacks was ####ing phenomenal.
