It's plausible in this range that this would not change the player that the Flames draft, or the likelihood of this player becoming a difference maker for the Flames

I remember that and Glen just shrugged it off and Peters came in and tried to build off it even commenting that's it's impressive to score 4 goals regardless of the circumstances.

This has been Ruizcka's problem since the first CHL scouting reports. I still think he can be an effective player.

He looked like this year was his breakout season and then just faded

Taking a while to get to 5000

He got stuck trying to carry Lucic. An unenviable task.
Seemed to do fine with Lindholm but his play dipped, he was demoted and that was that.

Yep! There will be plenty of overreacting tonight that's for sure. Still, I hope they guys do well and it motivates them in the offseason.
Also the whining over them playing with Kadri is funny. I doubt they give a s### and are happy to play.
Hope this isn't the last game for Lewis. Perfect player to put with some kids on the 4th line.

I'd argue it's hard to gain consistency from the pressbox. If he were actively hurting this team then I'd understand him sitting but by every measurable tool he was an improvement on more than a handful of players who were regulars on this roster down the stretch. Would have been nice to throw the kid a bone after riding pine for half the year.

Pumped to see what Wolf can do.
Hopefully he’s good at stopping 2 on 1s and breakaways.

Sutter must hate what he sees in practice

Thanks for the amazing GDTs Cheese...so much great info/stats. Became a must read for me before games this year.
Pumped to see Wolf and Coronato play tonight! (although I'm not sure Matt will get a single pass playing with Kadri...prove me wrong Naz!)

Funny - I think he's ancient. But 12 of the players he was drafted with in round one in 2006 are still playing in the NHL as well (it was a hell of a round one draft actually).

It would be nice to get him back on wing next season instead of at centre but that's my only complaint.

I hope it's his last game here but I'll be pulling for him to land a job elsewhere next year. The Flames need to get younger and faster. Lewis can be a solid 12/13 option for a top tier team next year.
