Keep your head up son. Love it. Wish Huberdeau gave a ####.
Spare me. Huberdeau absolutely gives a ####, he just doesn't show it by laying people out with big hits. He did his absolute best all year to adapt to a coach's system, which is reflective in his underlying defensive numbers. He was easily one of their best players in the last 30 games or so.
People need to stop with the false narrative that Huberdeau has some sort of character flaw.

Depends how far you want to go back. Garnet Hathaway is on the Bruins.
Hathaway is a guy I never had strong feelings about either way when he was on the Flames. But I'll be happy for him if he wins anyways. Good for him in being part of a historic season too.

Huberdeau definitely came on in the last quarter. A disappointing season, but he was on the upswing and the team's results definitely improved with his increased output. Him and Kadri were quite the contrast down the stretch.

Panthers clinch a spot with 92 points, must be nice
91 point Flames a disaster of epic proportions
I think the disaster is how the Flames managed to miss the playoffs. It was there for the taking, but they lost to some really bad teams when it mattered the most.

I'm not sure why you have to be so scathing about the Panthers This was the year they were going to take a step back because of all the dead cap and not being able to replace Weegar, everyone knew it before the season started. They are playing Marc Staal in their top four who should be a #7 and a waiver claim Mahura in their bottom pairing, combine that with Bob being all over the place and the result is what it is.
The whole point of the Huberdeau/Tkachuk trade was that they are setup better for the next seven years with all their core guys around 26-27.

Panthers sure need a goalie. They could also use a younger Tanev.
