They aren't playoffs teams they are playing for the last seeds.

The 7th and 8th seeds are already finalized by everyone having the same chance to play an 82 game schedule.

I'm not a fan of the shootout or 3-point games either. It was fine to just leave the games as ties, split the points, and move on.

Winnipeg won their own game anyway, so the shootout last night was meaningless in hindsight.

It will be the lowest playoff point total in a while. If the Flames clinched with 92 we would take it but be saying the same things. People already are saying they were only in it because the Jets sucked. Bottom of the east was brutal this year
