When you’ve got yourself into a position where you require the 31st place team to bail you out, not sure you really deserve playoffs all that much anyway.

For me it was always going to be the avs and wild games if they lost. Flames still need to win tonight and then hope minny and Colorado beat Winnipeg.

That’s it. Jets have big game players who can get it done under pressure unlike the Flames

Sharks showed up for 20 seconds.

Now it’s hope for bruises and exhaustion going into Minnesota in 24hrs.

Maybe not, but the Flames would fare better than the Winnipeg Waste of 8 Days.

Flames are a decrepit skills comp team, but they are built for 5 on 5.

Well I'm gonna go hit cap Friendly's draft lottery simulator and hit the simulate button until the flames pick 6th.

They were top team in the West not that long ago and collapsed to the point where they are fighting for a playoff spot but ok.

Also lost the last two meetings with the sharks before this one.

Can't even say they don't choke vs bad teams.

People being dramatic for the sake of it is amusing.

All this talk of a waste of 8 days and a sweep are funny to me. It's never a waste to put on a white shirt or jersey and enjoy a White Out, even if for 2 home games. And it's the playoffs. Anything can happen.

Lots of work to do before that happens.

Let’s be honest. The Flames are a better team than the Jets and it’s not even really that close, standings notwithstanding.

I'm not going to come on to CP and argue something like that. You believe what you want. I'm not suggesting the Jets are a better team, I'm saying that the waste of 8 days talk is crap.

The Jets have like 7 more wins than the Flames. Calgary is lucky to even be in the hunt
