This is the flames, year after year for the last 45 years. If you know you know. Another year another familiar result. I should be used to it by now but I’m not. It still stings. P.S. Wills can absolutely shut up already, we didn’t get it done this year, full stop. Please quit with the excuses already!! I’m not in the know but grow up already you bunch of babies, you’re better than this crap. Outside of the first two weeks of the season you’ve embarrassed yourselves, coaches and players alike. I’ll be here cheering you on next year just like I always have but I’m m seriously questioning my sanity right about now. Pathetic season all around. Rant over

You’re forgetting a few. Anaheim? There’s also multiple against Chicago, then there was the Ottawa game… hell, I can think of a lot more. Also I have higher expectations than just showing up for 20-30 mins a night.

Kadri sucks, hate him. He is the most selfish Flame ever to play for the franchise. Gave up on the team. #### him.

His last couple dekes 1 on 0 have been godawful though, I must say.

Take the positive. There are two more games left and it will be the last time we see Kadri and Huberdeau this year.

Plus, lately the Flames just seem to have to suck every second season. Watch them change nothing and end the season with 105 points. Hockey's just weird

Tonight’s attempt wasn’t that bad. He missed scoring by about 2 inches, it was fine. I’ve seen way worse. Like Kadris, tonight.

People are questioning putting him in...he was 3/5 going in, an obvious choice

Should’ve used Rasmus in the shootout

The OT was pretty fun, if somewhat frustrating. But it WAS fun.

Yeah, I'll give you the Anaheim one. The Ottawa one should have been a win, just choked it. It wasn't a total no-show.

Are people complaining about Huby’s attempt today?

He had a hole, he just missed it by an inch or two.

They did not show up for the Sabres game early in the season.

Yeah that was a nice move tonight.

If anything he actually got Demko to bite too hard. Demko bit so hard he didnt get any lateral push at all and Huberdeau was trying to slide it where he thought the opening would be.

The funny thing is that in isolation, I would take this result easily in stride and move on. The Canucks have been surging for the past 6 weeks and Markstrom played great. Crappy first, but really good third. It wasn't a bad game, and to get a point was a fair result. The timing just sucks.

As a side note, pretty impressed with Hirose in his first 2 NHL games. He looks like he is going to be a player.

Flames still need Jets to lose two doesn't change much. If it's meant to be it will happen. Still happy going into game 81 and they are still alive

Per Sutter: the whole team played like they have flat tires in the first 40 minutes. We gained back some momentum after the other car blew their engine. Then our car crashed at the end because he sent out the wrong drivers.

We need better tires and drivers next game.
