Even then the good teams usually start ramping up May through June into July. Once you hit the all-star break you have a decent look at teams who have evened out what they're likely to be through cold streaks and win streaks.

I like the rule that pitchers have to face 3 batter but it's so stressful when your pitcher doesn't have it after one batter.

Relievers are so frustrating.

When our bullpen was total dog #### a couple years ago, guys like Richards and Mayza were the bright spots.

Now that they've added some solid arms down there these guys are suddenly completely unreliable.

Absolutely ridiculous that we have now used 4 relievers when Gausman made it to the 7th inning, and there is still only one out in the 8th inning.

Gausman rocking a tidy 0.00 ERA through 2 starts. Gotta be happy with that.

Manoah bounced back and not that Gausman was bad in first game but glad to see him pitch well. Now hopefully Bassitt can be a lot better then he was in his first start.

Bassitt coming out and throwing a solid 6 would be so great for overall team confidence early on here. Loving the overall shape and look of the roster though, once some consistency and rhythm is established in the schedule I could see them going on a substantial heater!
