I am surprised how hard Jets fans seem to be on their team after this one. I know the timing of the loss isn't great from their perspective, but they played well over all. Markstrom goalied them for the most part.

I don't think it was anything Winnipeg did last night they didn't look great the Flames looked like a team that just played 4 games in 4 nights and had no legs for a while. Jets looked like the rested team and still didn't have that extra gear to put us away.

The Flames looked like they wanted it more from what I saw.

Markstrom looked like a star though. And no matter which way you frame it, that's a good thing.

Huby setting guys up and Mangiapane shooting confidently isn't a bad thing either.

I honestly think every fan base seems to base almost all of their view of a hockey game on the final score.

Calgary was pretty good last night, but Markstrom was excellent. I wouldn't put the Flames game play anywhere near their top 10 (or 20) games of the season.

They likely played better against Chicago save for 5 minutes in the third period.

Sutter is a rancher who works under the sun in the off season. Bowness probably has spa day every week and use face mask every day.

I mean round 2 as in a sequel to last year. Otherwise known as the revenge round.

The moisturizer is how he slips out of his chains.

Honestly, I felt the Flames were lucky to win that one. We were outplayed for much of the game, but Markstrom was great (and I think lucky too).

I bet the Flames have played 20 games better than that one, and just didnt get the results with our lack of capitalizing on chances and abysmal save percentage all year.

But hey, 2 points is 2 points!

Markstrom made the difference last night. Had he not shown up as he did, the Jets could have walked away with that one with a big win.

Yeah, best game of the season by far from him. He almost gave me a heart attack a couple of times by losing the net and the Jets missed golden opportunities, but he made some massive saves that were high percentage scoring opportunities as well.

I don't understand that machismo lovefest for Sutter's ranching. I don't think he would either.

What machismo lovefest? I just said he is a rancher and works on his ranch.

Sorry if that seemed targeted to you, it wasn't. Yours is just another post in a long line of strange adoration for the farm.
