I don’t know if it’s just more trolling or you’re being genuine, but if so, it’s worth considering. Despite your attitude toward me and LGBTQ people, I still hope you feel better soon and are able to manage your way through whatever this is.

Funny thing is if it weren't for politics being, well, what it is these days, and it creeping into seemingly every facet of life, no one would even know what my political leanings were around here. Well, that's not entirely true, I've been called out as a right winger for my location without even expressing a political view. But that is a relatively recent trend. I remember when this board was about hockey and politics was something reserved for another CP board. I didn't go there because quite frankly I don't know or care about Canadian politics.

But now that some here think I'm "one of them" (whatever their bogeyman of choice might be, mine is Bob Boughner), they will do their best to make sure I don't forget it. As they say, the flack only gets heavy when you're over the target.

On a side note, the Pride Jersey auctions have closed. Crazy to see the prices some people paid. Looks like Tanev was the highest at $3,000, followed by Backlund and Looch

Do you know if players got jerseys outside of the auction? It would be kind of funny if players bid on their own jerseys.

CP has been friendly to the anti vax, pro convoy, anti BLM, anti pride/inclusion for 3 full years now. No end in sight and we all know why.

Yes, sometimes discussions from the real world are relevant in the hockey side of the forum. Cry me a river. How do you get through daily life if you're triggered by any mention of the world around you? And why would you intentionally subject yourself to it then?

Because homophobia has been a massive problem in hockey and events like Pride Night are trying to combat that. Is it that hard to see?
