Great win, started off by Kikuchi. Hope this is the start of a streak.

I like our chances for the next two with Manoah and Gausman going and probably extra motivated to bounce back.

Manoah and Gausman are legit. I think Manoah gets worked up in tense situations and can't calm down (not in the nervous sense but hypes himself too much). Gausman gets a bit nervous when things don't look good. But they're both #1s, and I'm sure they'll lead the team as the season goes on. It's the other three guys who need to align.

It’s so great to watch Kikuchi see his hard work pay off. He looked like a broken guy at points last year and he had a spring in his step today.
Hopefully, he can inspire Berrios.

I think that is exactly what it is with Manoah in the big games. He gets overamped. Hopefully, as he gets more experience, big games will be more natural for him.
Gausman was really good in his start - Chappy’s error really hurt and the bats had been infested with termites.

I didn't post last night after being so angry about the Flames game, but Varsho is becoming my favorite player on the team. It's nice because he's like a left-handed Teoscar. And Teoscar was my favorite player before getting traded. Happy to have Varsho for 4 seasons.

Points lost for being a Teoscar fan.
Regarding Varsho, I do like that he’s just a quiet guy who appears to be humble. Sometimes guys are all about the spotlight and he appears to be a guy who you silently cheer for.

Jays claim Jordan Luplow
Also speaking of Teo...
Last year when a ball was hit to Right or left I would be like please don't drop it. Now this year it's like well that's an easy out.

Varsho just seems like a guy the Tampa Bay Rays would have that would make plays that would drive me crazy as a Jays fan. Nice to have him on our team.

Belt is now 0-3 tonight with 3 K's. I don't know much about the guy, but I thought he was supposed to be okay? He's hitting around .070 now so I'm not sure how much longer you keep him in the lineup.

Man, what an outing for Manoah, just unreal.
7 IP, one hit. He's at 90+ pitches after 7 so that's probably it for the night, but he was fantastic.

What a way to bounce back for Manoah. Brilliant.
