It is crazy that the Kraken and Predators can still end up being first and second in the conference theoretically. The Stars clinch a playoff spot with a regulation win.

Don't we want Vegas to win? I'd rather they pull away with 1st and play them in the first round if we can snag that final wild card.

Yeah, I had a tough time deciding who I should cheer for in that game. I kind of want them win and put pressure on the Avs so they play hard when they play the Jets? I don't want the Jets vs Avs game a meaningless game?

Kind of need an analysis on the remaining schedule of Min/Dal/Col to ensure the Jets and Preds last two games vs Min and Col aren't rest games for them.

Go Stars, if the Preds lose tonight I think they are done. Would be 5 pts back of Jets with only 1 game in hand.
Edit: 6pts back because the Jets own the tiebreak.

After much computing I feel like we want Minnesota to win tonight in OT. Colorado has the easiest schedule of the three and 7 games left so they have a good chance at first and the conference but hopefully not so fast.
We obviously want the Stars to beat Nashville as well, which helps us both ways.
edit: Perhaps Nashville getting a point wouldn't be so bad so they remain in it so their WPG game is important.

I think topfive was wanting the Avs-Jets game on April 13 to mean something to Colorado so they don't just rest all of their stars.

Colorado has the clearest path to 1st in the Central and maybe the conference, but we might need them hungry for their last two games which are vs Winnipeg and Nashville.
