I have a feeling this duo will not be back next season. One of them probably has to go. I get they could both bounce back next season but the risk is too high to find out.

4/14 on occasion, okay maybe they’re high quality. But the consistency with which the goaltending is statistically terrible is getting pretty damn annoying.

I don't think any rebuilding team's players want to lose. Their team's lose because they're just not well built or their young guys haven't fully come into their own.

Ok. Watch how sloppy the Ducks are in the 3rd. They will sit back and let Calgary come in waves and the Flames will win the game. Let's see if I am right. You don't think any rebuilding team wants to lose if it ups the chance of drafting a generational player and you have no chance at playoffs? I know they do, history shows teams tank.

Okay. Just confirming you made a dumb post.
The players don't give a #### about the franchise getting a lottery pick pick. They care about maximizing their value, and getting the best contracts for themselves. It's in their best interest to play as good as possible so then they are valuable players that the team, or other teams will pay for.
Tanking is purely for the organization. Not the players. So giving them #### for trying to win games? #### outta here.

They are paid based on personal stats and play
Most teams in the lottery actually play better down the stretch than they did earlier in the season
