Yeah, that's absolutely what he did.

His After Effects skills are great. Most of those videos are done with quick fades and masking like the compilation of his I linked to from earlier, but the gradual hue change is a fun twist on it while still doing his usual fast tricks throughout to distract.

Apologies if this has been shared already. This song/video resonated with me for many reasons. Ren is currently in Calgary for treatment. If you're interested he has a great story to tell, you should look into it.
