I've said many times he's much better defensively than I expected, but much worse offensively.

To be fair, I hate most of the Flames this season.

I really was expecting a guy that was going to come in and put up 40-50 points, but be prone to some super bad giveaways/dumb plays.
Instead he's been pretty good defensively and pretty mediocre offensively. I'm actually surprised he almost has 30.

Any of them. Just make that one big stop. Garland breakaway isn't a guaranteed goal. Petterson one timer isn't a guaranteed goal. Bouncing cross ice pass on the 3rd one. You'd think with a big body he'd get in the way of one of them.

I feel like there's way too much over analyzing the Goals Against tonight. This game is the truest sense of the old adage "thems the breaks" . It may actually be the most honest reflection of their season as well. Just nothing has gone their way. At all.

So many Flames fans are happy with Markstrom only making saves a goalie "is supposed to make".

The good goalies get some that they aren't. Like one of the 4 on Markstrom tonight. Make a save that you aren't supposed to make. That's what the 6 mil is for.
