I think it will be pretty fun, since nobody will be expecting anything.

Bingo. Playoffs are always fun, even if you lose. Cheering against the oilers and canucks is also almost as satisfying as your own team winning. Playoffs are magic.

As much as we think we know. Anything can happen in the playoffs.

Skinner scores the game winning goal in overtime. The Sabres are still alive.

Levi looked pretty solid in his debut. Drafted a year after Wolf and had never played anything above NCAA.

In their last 10 games, Calgary has 12 points, the Jets 10.

Whomever gets in will go in, more or less, the same. At this stage, the Jets cannot likely limp in, unless Calgary simply rolls over. And the Preds roll over too.

Plus, teams limp into to playoffs all the time and make noise.

Well hopefully the Jets are getting all of that scoring out of their system tonight. This was their easiest game left of the season.

Fair enough. Do you have a stat that is more than the last 10?

It's a fun chase because it's Winnipeg. Their fans are up front about being Jets fans and don't hide in the shadows pretending to be Flames fans like Vancouver/Edmonton people. I have no reason to dislike their team.

Love when Oilers Troglodytes come lurking out of their caves.

I am tired of posters saying that every team that is better than the Flames will simply flame out in the playoffs.

As if that somehow makes the Flames better.

The playoffs have been there for the taking for the Flames all year. If they don’t make it, the teams that do have proven themselves better during the season.

It’s not like the Flames are likely to be some playoff juggernaut. They could be, but so could any team at the end of the day.

I'm as caught up in the race as anyone, but there's a reason why the Flames are where they are.

We can only get in through the second wild card, meaning we'll play either Minny, Vegas or McDavid. How are we getting past one of these teams?

No. It’s because Sutter teams seem to have success in the playoffs after being an average regular season team. Is this always the case, no. But there is hope.

Nice that Detroit chose to take the night off.

Maybe the Jets decided to play to their potential.

Likely a bit of both.

The last four years, it's happened 3 out of 8 times.
