Yeah It's a shame. I lived in Airdrie from 2013-2017 and remember Paul quite well, especially when he decided to toss out the no compete agreement and start a new restaurant despite the Paul's sale.
He was a damn good guy and it's been an absolute shame what's happened to his good name since

Paul's pizza is pathetic. I originally just boycotted during Covid, but would have gone back eventually if they just said their piece at the time and moved on.
But now that they've continually doubled down, making hateful and stupid comments on every QAnon check box, they can get ****ed, I'll never step foot in there again.

They look really good, my only gripe with these is why teams tend to make them like actual practice jerseys just because they're wearing them for warm up. Why not just make them full on jerseys?

Probably because it would take the league a year to approve it and we just saw them for the first time yesterday. I'd love to see them wear the Pride Day, Lunar New Year, Indigenous Heritage Day, Black History Day once each than the stupid Blasty ones all winter.
They should at least sell some stuff with the design on it.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear with that. They use a practice jersey design for most of these warm up jerseys, as the Flames did here. I'm saying just design them as a real game jersey, but still use them in warm up as planned.

Oh, yeah, I agree. They could have used some waist striping for sure.

It honestly is probably a cost thing full stop. Make 24 jerseys and make them the same cost as what the auctions will cover. It honestly IMO make a nice enough design to break even.

100% about manufacturing costs, which is also why these aren't available in replica form for fans. (Although there will soon be T-shirts available).

That's surprising as the difference between a practice cut and game cut jersey would be what? $100 max per jersey, so $2500 total? I know the Flames can be cheap in some ways, but I couldn't seeing that being the barrier to a practice style jersey versus game style on such a special night.

Honestly I think t-shirts are the way to go anyway. The jerseys themselves are always boring practice jerseys that look cheap (in my opinion). I'd much rather have a cheaper shirt with a cool logo on it than an expensive practice jersey.

I decided to put that money towards beer(s)

Probably much less than that. The cost to produce the pride crest would be there in any scenario, so really we're just talking about applying the crest to a practice jersey rather than a blank home or away. The practice jerseys are similar quality wise, probably the only manufacturing cost difference would be the lack of some details like stripes. I'd say the difference would be between $1 and $10 in cost between those jerseys, and closer to the $1.
It can't be about cost.

And Backlund is by far the leading jersey so far with bids up to $1,725. People love Backlund.

I think for a lot of anti-vaxxers, the restrictions of freedoms and coercion (whether real or perceived) were pretty traumatic.
As someone who got both my vaxes and was generally in favor of people voluntarily getting them...the federal government policies toward those who didn't want to get the vaccine was pretty overboard at times. I completely understand it could have pushed some on-edge people off the deep end.

Overboard? They were far to lenient in my opinion, let the wackos get away with too much. We're talking about the same type of people here, idiots.
