Things I've always wanted to see. Spoilered for those that don't want to read

Transporters literally rip you apart a molecular level. I'd like to see Transporters being tremendously painful but the cost of doing business.

Having screaming star fleet officers materializing in front of a group of primative villagers would make me laugh.

I've only seen one true transporter accident in STTMP. But having someone materialize with their feet where their hands are would make me laugh

Just having one just one engineer telling the Captain and Science officer that their technobabble idea is not only nonsense but can't be done because the deflector array is not designed to do it and the modifications would take a year in a ship yard would greatly amuse me.

Just one guy pushing a vacuum on the bridge or using windex on the touchpads, even during a crisis or battle would be awesome.

There are probably only 20 non commissioned officers in Starfleet. Everyone else is an officer. Chief O'briens life has to be a living hell as literally everyone outranks in to sunset

They touched on it with Barclay and the Orville went in it. but not all holodeck adventures are Robin Hood Stories or sailing an ocean sail boat. It would be nice to hear a call over the loudspeaker. "Maintenance to holodeck 2 for cleanup. These people are still humans and humans do disgusting things. Look at the internet.

Showing more of the crappy quarters like in Lowerdecks, everyone no matter their rank have these hotel quality multiroom quarters to themselves.

Physics count. How can phasers miss they're accelerated particle based beams of light that travel at lightspeed try dodging a laser pointer aimed at your chest. Starships fight at impulse speed.

Can someone fix the problems with the ventral shields they fail within seconds.

oh and last but not least, can someone stand up in the bar and yell out, whats the point of synthohol?

I presume the particles that compose phasers have mass, so they wouldn't travel at the speed of light.

There was a really good Starfleet Academy game back in the 90's where the commandant was basically the hotel concierge from Pretty Woman.

But yeah its either Barclay or the ginger from Star Trek Discovery.

It was apparently got a cloaking device again after the war ended but that's after the show in some novels that are probably not canon.

Make-up and the fact Kelley still had hair, and it didn't go very grey until his 70s. If you look closely at his hands you can see liver spots, shattering the illusion a bit.

Keep SNW, LD, and prodigy if it's good. Absolutely no to Star Trek legends or whatever crap he's trying to peddle. Not only will it balloon the cost of the franchise it's totally pointless and does nothing to grow the fandom or canon.

I'm actually not sure where best to take the franchise in wake of discovery and the nightmare that it played on multiple parts of the timeline.
Probably a series set about 100 years after picard? Totally new ships and crew, occasional history reference but no direct descendants? sort of exactly what TNG was.

This is what I'd like to see as well. SNW is terrific and the best Trek we've seen in a while, but I'd like to see them do something set far in the future that has no ties to the OG series, TNG, DS9 or Voyager. Give us a totally new crew, new ships, new planets, new storylines, etc... Just start fresh with a clean slate.

If they want to continue the 30-year post Enterprise timeline, I would totally watch a Captain Shaw & Friends show. He's easily the best part of this season
