Default March 24, just three games.

The Friday OOT has a game with a western conference team playoff
team. The other two games involve eastern teams battling it out for
either positioning or the last two playoff spots. It is a must win for the Sabres.
The Devils can climb into a tie for second place in the eastern conference.
It is another "calm before and after the storm" with the scheduling.
Take it easy from the roller coaster ride of the playoff races.

The Sabres lead 3-2 after twenty minutes, plenty of offense so far.

Go Sabres Go! A win today puts them to within 5 points of the Flames.

The BJs have exploded for four goals in the second period, 4-2 after forty minutes!

Johnson's goal for Columbus is a highlight reel goal. In between the legs and Michigan move.

Satin is mad with the Devils because they are losing 5-2.

The Islanders strike back to tie it at 4-4.

The Devils are trying to do the same thing, 5-4 now.

The Islanders take a late penalty in regulation time. Overtime penalty killing coming up.

It is 1-1 Coyotes-Avalanche after twenty minutes in the first game of a home/away series.

Vejmelka is doing his best in net for the Coyotes. It remained 1-1 heading into the third period.
A pair of power play goals by MacKinnon and Compher makes it 3-1.

The Sabres scored 3 goals in just under 11 minutes to start the game. That was it for Schmid in net. He faced only 7 shots before he was pulled for Vanecek. Tuch had 2g, 1a for the Sabres. Jack Hughes had 2 goals in the loss. The win for the Sabres puts them just 6 points back of the 8th place Penguins.

The BJs win it in overtime with Boone Jenner's PPG. Brock Nelson, who scored twice for the Isles, took a high sticking penalty with 30 seconds left in the 3rd period. Gaudreau scored the BJs 1st goal on the PP. Hutchinson was in net for Columbus and was a big reason the BJs won. The Isles out shot the BJs 38-27. It is a big point for the Islanders as they are now 4 points up on the 9th place Panthers.

It was the Makar/MacKinnon show for the Avs in their win. They both had 1ppg and 2a as the Avs were 2/3 on the PP. The win puts the Avs tied with the Oilers, 6 points back of the Knights for 1st place in the western conf. It's a 6 way horse race for the top spot.
