Yep, it got worse. The Bhawks were 0/5 on the PP and 2/4 on the PK. They got stomped on 6-1. Ovechkin with a breakaway goal and an assist in the win that keeps the Capitals close to a playoff spot.

That Tommy Novak for the Preds got another assist last night. About to turn 26, a lifelong AHLer who has now come up to the NHL and is almost a PPG player. I guess it is possible to be one of those guys who scores in the AHL and then finally gets an opportunity with the big club and goes off. Nice to see.
