Is it a coincidence that both years we've had this Blasty retro jersey the team has underperformed and missed playoffs? I think not.

Sad to see Pelletier out of the lineup again.
Lucic being in instead of Pelletier is just plain insanity.

The Flames have been utterly brutal at home over the last stretch, so my expectations are low. I'm just skipping games now.

I haven’t watched a full game in well over a week. This team is just not fun to watch at all, and it’s pretty clear at this point that drastic changes are needed if they want to ice a more competitive team next year.
Combine all that with the annoying league-wide Oilers circle jerk, and it makes for one of the most depressing seasons in franchise history. This is the darkest timeline.

It may be a while before the Flames push for a playoff spot again. I am going to try and enjoy it for what it is.

Why has Pelletier sat 4 of the last 5? All because of that OT blunder?
Bit ridiculous if you ask me, the kid already has the best motor on the team.

I think part of it is because he was rocked pretty hard in the last game. The guy has skill, no doubt. I worry a little bit about his stature still and am concerned about the amount of punishment he was starting to take.

At his point I would rather watch Oilers vs Coyotes than the Flames. I still dislike the Oilers very much but the games are entertaining. Cannot expect the same from our home team, it is embarrassing.

Markstrom looking to avoid his third straight game with a sub .800 save percentage. And the Flames are the favourite...

GFG!
I now things seem hopeless, but the Flames just need to win one night, while the Preds/Jets lose. This puts them within two points of the Jets and 4 points up of the Preds (they have 3 games in hand), with backs to back against both.

Why not just call it "game" against both.

I don't like it if that's the case.
But that crosscheck to the back of the head tells me he could be dinged up.
