If letting Darryl go is a possibility, tonight feels like an appropriate time to do it.

Lanny couldn't fire these guys up. Speaks volumes about how disgruntled they are with the coach/system.

An interim coach bump is about all they have left.

And if you fall short, at least you could get the Sutter cobwebs off ahead of next season.

Get some better vibes in the room and creativity back in their game. Maybe even some music in the room.

It was obvious from the get go Huby & Kadri are not complementary to each other yet they were stapled together for 80% of the season. Classic example of not playing your players to their strengths. 100% poor coaching.

Well we had issues with the old core after the allstar break and they broke out of that funk last season.

This is one of the things that has infuriated me this year.

I have always been a big fan of Sutter, but his season has been atrocious, and tonight has been another pretty terrible night

Ownership is not going to pay another coach to sit at home and collect a pay cheque. They just gave him an extension.

It's far too late in the season to fire the coach. Off season, who knows. So much uncertainty. GM? Coach? Trades? All the above?

Markstrom has been bad because of confidence in shaky defence. The amount of bad breakdowns in the offensive zone , neutral zone and defensive zone have been atrociously bad. All season. Huska has to go. Sutter has bluffed his hand and the players called only to fold as a response.

Just bad team dynamics. I hope lucic doesn’t fight another fight for this feckless bunch for the rest of his tenure. Not fighting reaves says to me that his team wouldn’t care even if he did. Remember when Matt Tachuck was mad his team didn’t get more angry after the muezzin puck flip? Symptom of a soft group.

Tanev gets a pass, toffoli gets a pass, dube gets a pass, Anderson gets a sort of pass, weegar gets a sort of pass, Sadorov gets a quarter pass, backlund gets a pass, Coleman gets a pass and Lewis gets a pass.

Everyone else should think about hoping their next team is full of tougher guys to cover up for their lack of gumption.
