Well guys it was fun to hope but there’s not a hope in hell this team earns a playoff spot. Pretty lame we managed to soil a legendary coach and eat some unknowns for massive contracts. That’s great, looking forward to have a team of whiny underperformers next season. Fun.

Hanifin is an absolute liability, pillow soft and a turnover machine. His size and he plays like it’s ringette. He needs to go, but unfortunately the rest of the league sees how bad he is.

Kind of too bad, it’s gonna cost him on his next contract being this lazy whereas he might have been in line for a monster deal if he’d kept up his effort / play. He’s been actual dog #### this year. Like, in the vast majority of games he’s a passenger and floating around.

Hanifin wilts when the pressure is on. He was by far the worst dman against the Stars last year in the first round and although slightly better vs the Oil, he was still atrocious.

Defend Huberdeau all you want. But paying that guy rite money when Florida didn’t want to was a mistake. It will be a bit anchor for another 8 years or more considering the eventual buy out that will prolong the money even longer.
And it wasnt just highlight watching. It was also gauging the fan reactions in the Florida boards.
The guy is a marshmallow. He has no jam. He needs a stud to play with. But how are we going to find a stud now? Lindholm ain’t it. Kadri ain’t it. Mangiapane ain’t it. The top of the 2023 NHl entry draft was it.
