The game changed when Antony came on like what, he also scored game winning goals vs bettis and then previously Barcelona. But go on. Pereira is a ball play midfielder, Antony is a speedy dribbling winger. Comparing apples to oranges. He’s is on the field cause havoc on the flank which he does consistently. His decision making can get better but picking on him after having a month of scoring big goals is kinda ridiculous.

He literally made the pass to set up the penalty. His right foot needs improving, its not a strong suit but that is not why he is on the field. He’s been making a difference in big games.

I didn’t say it was, you obviously don’t like the player so he can win 3-4 games a month and you will still have a problem with him. Like this month.

I do like him. He’s gritty, with top speed. I don’t like his cost, and being a one trick pony on that right side— cut inside — hit low % left footed curler.

Conversely, a good winger should have a proper cross in his arsenal. He’s more one footed than de Gea. THUS WATCHING PEREIRA (a 6 lol), PERFORM EXCEPTIONAL CROSSES COULD DO HIM SOME GOOD.

A 23 year old still has lots of things to work on. Most young players do. Pereira was a premier league outcast at 23. Not his fault Man U paid so much, I think hes had a good year for his first in England. Way better than Sanchos first.

He is not speedy. I haven't seen him beat anyone with pure speed yet.
His right foot is virtually non existent. And disagree. If you are on the field playing RW there is an expectation that at least a couple of times a game you get to the line and get a cross in.
Yes. He scored a nice goal against Betis but that's as much a result of terrible defending. As Cam mentioned he's a one trick pony on the right. Cuts inside. NEVER outside.

But, having said that. I like his attitude. He stays wide and can dribble.

And way better than Sancho is not the strongest of arguments.

We needed a centerback last summer badly, and we got lenglet who has been ok and I'm fine with him or Davies on the left of a 3. But we needed someone who can play where dier does, who can also play in a back 4 beside romero

But in the last year he paid a lot for Richarlison, Porro, udogie, spence, bissouma

Deki and betancur as well last january

The issue is conte lf that group only plays the latter 2, and Porro lately

This is why I am not as negative on next season, because the new manager, whether it be poch, tuchel, de Zerbi, Enrique. They basically already have 3 transfers that are new, we really only need 2 buys this summer as long as kane stays, a CB and a CAM, and I'm not worried about levy spending over 100m to get both, since the stadium hes been good on spending
